Tsc new jobs group's grade and titles for teachers (Courtesy -Blaze)
The teachers Service Commission ,TSC ,Is set to promote school administrators who are currently not enjoying the responsibility allowances effected in the current collective Bargaining Agreement ,CBA .This will put a smile on the face of hundreds of those administrators who have not benefited from the increased parts as implemented in the current CBA.Via an internal memo by Acting Director(staffing)Rita Wahome dated 13th September ,2019 ,the commission has instructed select regional directors to submit data on the effected teachers from their regions so as appropriate affirmative action be taken.
The affected areas are:-
Rift valley (Baringo -Baringo North,Marigat,East Pokot and Tiaty ,Samburu,Kajiado
Mashuru Loitokitok,Kajiado West And Kajiado Central ,Narok ,South East ,West,North And West Pokot
North Eastern (Garissa ,Mandera,Marsabit,Turkana ,Marsabit,Wajir)
Eastern (Isiolo,Kitui,Machakos )
Coast (Kilifi,Kwale ,Lamu,Tana River)
Nyanza (Homabsy,
According to the memo the commission requires data for the following :-
1.All principals serving in Grade' D1'(Job groups "m)and Grade 'C3' Job group L)deployed to perform the duties of principals in ASAL areas after the implementation of the policy on Appointment and Deployment of Institutional Administrations.
2.Deputy Principals,Grade 'C3'(job group 'L)assigned to perform the duties of Deputy Principals on affirmative action before the policy came into effect and after.
3.Headteachers in Grade 'C3' (Job group L )deployed to perform duties is headteachers after the policy came into effect.
4.Deputy headteachers serving in Grade 'C3' and 'C2' (Job group L and K)respectively deployed to perform duties of deputy headteachers after the policy came into effect.
