Jubilee Party Candidate McDonald Mariga is now free to run for Kibra seat in the coming by -election after political parties tribunal dismissed petition challenging his nomination .
The petitioner Morris Peter Kinyanjui demanded Mariga be banned from flying the party's flag arguing his selection irregular considering the Jubilee Party did not conduct nomination as per its constitution .
"Mariga proceeds with a campaign that it is founded on a nomination process that was illegal and in contravention of my constitutionally protected rights," Said Kinyanjui.
Mariga beat other aspirants in during an interview conducted to subscribe in during an interview conducted to scrutinise their suitability .
Kinyanjui's plea fell on deaf ears as the tribunal chairperson Kyallo Mbobu noted the body has no Jurusdiction to revert a decision that has already been approved by the electoral commission.
